These ones will flush all spam.

DO:

Enable Senders computers restrictions rules

Enable PostScreen with b.barracuda.com

Remove Amavis. Amavis eats too much CPU/RAM.

Enable Milter-Greylist with tested parameters
http://forum.artica.fr/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=6164

then you are good to go!

Ok, I tried installing the module with

./artica-make APP_AMAVISD_NEW

But then I started getting below error. Any clue how can I fix it.

yellow usually means "installed but not working" and you do not need spamassassin .....

you can kill all spam if you do this .....

Enable Senders computers restrictions rules

Enable PostScreen with b.barracuda.com

Remove Amavis. Amavis eats too much CPU/RAM.

Enable Milter-Greylist with tested parameters

Hi Friend7,

I am really confused here and would really appreciate if you can help me in understanding the concept. I mean whatever appliances I have configured so far are all based on spamassassin. If I disable spamassassin how would spam detected. Also same about Antivirus, how can I have it configured on my artica-smtp relay server. and last one will these setting quarantine the mails or reejct?

How kill spam, Read here: http://hcpnet.free.fr/milter-greylist/

Then Do:

Code: Select all
/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/artica-make APP_MILTERGREYLIST
/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/artica-make APP_CLAMAV

After that, go to configure your postfix instance:

Finally, enable ClamAV (Antivirus)

Enabling: System/Services

Thanks friend7 for your extensive reply but what if there are n number of customers sending mail to my server and when I am having grylisting feature enabled honestly it wouldn't be feasible for telling everybody to resend the message again since we have Greylist feature to have yourself whitelisted. Or the remote MTA can send the mail again once the greylist time has elapsed? Also, in that case mail will not be quarantined right those will be Deferred with temp error, am I correct?
