Artica as front end SMTP for Zarafa

New postby aldo.corleone » Wed Jan 29, 2014 8:22 pm

Hello everyone,

I've been watching artica for awhile, and am wondering if it will do what I'd like in this situation. I have a synology NAS appliance. This appliance has Zarafa as an add on application. From what I've seen/read, the Zarafa appliance is quite stable on the Synology. What I am missing though, is the robust spam gateway AND mailing list server.

I was wondering, if I built artica as a relay, and installed mailman on it, would I still be able to relay the messages back to Zarafa on the synology?

To me, this is the best of all worlds, because I would have the robust front end relay with mailing list, and a managed zarafa installation on my synology.

Please let me know if this would be feasible.

Thanks.
