i tried to install Cyrus-imap using '/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/artica-install APP_CYRUS_IMAP, but i got the error during compilation.

gcc: /usr/lib/libcom_err.a: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [sievec] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/cyrus-imapd-builder/sieve'
make: *** [install] Error 1

but

locate libcom_err.a
/usr/lib64/libcom_err.a

i'm using CentOS5.6-x86-64.

how can i correct the configure parameter while it's an automatic process?

thanks.
Adel

Cyrus-imap compilation has been removed because it compile the latests berkley database.
But berkley database is a real part of the system.
So i propose to not upgrade cyrus-imap and let the system do this task.

You have 2 ways

Install cyrus-imap with you distribution. (apt-get, yum, zypper)

Or run

Code: Select all
/usr/share/artica-postfix/bin/setup-ubuntu
and choose [2] option.
