Missing file

New postby deivishome » Wed Nov 07, 2012 7:29 pm

Hello,

after installing cyrus and roundcube i cannot login into webmail service. On mail.err or cyrus event windows appear an error:

Nov 7 20:24:49 mail cyrus/master[3456]: process 3504 exited, status 1
Nov 7 20:24:49 mail cyrus/tls_prune[3504]: DBERROR: opening /var/lib/cyrus/tls_sessions.db: cyrusdb error
Nov 7 20:24:49 mail cyrus/tls_prune[3504]: DBERROR: opening /var/lib/cyrus/tls_sessions.db: No such file or directory
Nov 7 20:24:49 mail cyrus/master[3504]: about to exec /usr/lib/cyrus/bin/tls_prune
Nov 7 20:24:49 mail cyrus/cyr_expire[3469]: duplicate_prune: purged 0 out of 0 entries

I restarted the system but it does not create the file.

I use imap and imaps protocols.

How can i create the missing file correctly, because i tried with a touch and giving permissions and owners but then it shows invalid database file type.

Thanks in advance.

Could you try this :

Code: Select all
    /etc/init.d/cyrus2.2 stop

Su to the cyrus user with the command

Code: Select all
    su – cyrus

Once you are the Cyrus user execute the following commands.

Code: Select all
    $ cd /var/lib/cyrus/
    $ rm db/*
    $ rm db.backup?/*
    $ rm deliver.db
    $ rm tls_sessions.db
    $ /usr/sbin/ctl_mboxlist -d > mailboxes.txt
    $ mv mailboxes.db mailboxes.db.old
    $ /usr/sbin/ctl_mboxlist -u < mailboxes.txt
    $ exit

Hello,

it didn't work, what i had to do is to disable imaps and delete the lines about tls_prune in /etc/cyrus.conf and the error is gone, but i still cannot access via Roundcube, it shows the error "invalid request. no data was saved" and i don't know what to do. Using the installer mode i do smtp and imap tests and they are ok.

Thanks again.
